First day in Paris. Great weather. Meeting for the collective walk to the starting point of the Sandemanns Free Paris walk. A little bit of tube-hopping and at Saint Michele there were quiet a lot of people. Our guide was Nancy from the UK that did a great job walking us around the main sights of the city. She had a vers entertaining way to tell about the history of Paris, impotant persons in the history of Paris/France an random stories.

The group was a good size of 18 people from all around the world. We startet with a distant view of Notre Dame from the Pont Neuf, Hotel de Ville, Louvre, Tuileries, Place de la Concorde and Champs Elysees. After three hours of walking – in the heat of the sun – the tour was over.

Did my own walking up the Champs Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe de l’Etoile. A lot of tourists on the street. Personally I found nicer parts of the city, but one had at least to see it. 🙂

Back to the Louve shopping center to do some shopping. 🙂 I love Tax Free!
