Second day in the city. The sun ist shining and I don’t habe much planned.
A short look at the gate no. 2 of the Lenin Shipyards (now Gdansk Shipyards) whwre the Solidarity movement startet – and the beginning of the End of the cold war?! The Museum was still closed (happens when you fall out of bed on a sunday).
Walking the parts of the Old Town I haven’t neen yesterday. Getting a small lunch and a Polish beer (Lech). More walking, window shopping, doing what I want. Just sitting on a bench in a park enjoying the sun.
Good tip to go to a bakery just before closing time – you get 2 for 1. 🙂
The day ends t the hotels restaurant with filet mignon and sorbet… Dolce vita.
To bad it is over tomorrow, but two weeks from now Manchester is waiting.
